2 Trek Nepal
After a long wait and several postponed dates , our team of trekkers made it to Nepal ! They visited a hospice there and got to renovate some of the run-down rooms before heading to the mountains to conquer a 5-day gruelling hike with a climb of 3500m . It was hard going , but they all did it as a team , giving each other a team high five when they completed each stage . Thank you so much to all of our incredible team , who have raised over £ 20,000 for the Hospice !
3 John Cavanagh
John Cavanagh was one of our incredible volunteer photographers who gave up his time to photograph many Dorothy House events . His humour , fun attitude , caring nature and wonderful photos made him a natural and a true friend . Sadly , he then became a Dorothy House patient and tragically died in April 2022 . We will all miss this wonderful man and think he ’ s a true hero .
