Nicholas Creswell, who installed a home cinema system in his north London apartment, says he enjoys it despite his limited knowledge of the technology. " I am no technical expert myself but it gives me a great experience. The setup is designed in a way that the technology doeVVsn ' t become intrusive," says Mr. Creswell, who spent around £ 5,000 installing the entertainment system.
Still, technology has some way to go and experts warn it should deliver what it says on the tag. " Homeowners have to be very careful so these technologies don ' t turn out to be gimmicks. It ' s got to add a pleasurable experience to the home," Mr. Smith says. �
