Dope Souf Magazine March 15 | Page 13

I get in the zone of creating music, and I become horrible at responding to people or emailing them back. I've been working on that for the last few months though

Who's someone you would like to work with in the industry, and why?

One person I would like to work with right now as far as artists goes is David Banner. It would be dope to just go in & bounce ideas off of each other in the studio.

Who were some of your biggest influences that are in the same field you are in?

Some of my influences were Drumma Boy, Mannie Fresh, Lil Jon, Just Blaze, DJ Paul & Juicy J, J Dilla, man so many producers, I just use to listen to what they would do musically, sonically and apply what I learned to my own sound and create.

Compare yourself to some one that is more established, who would that be and why?

I would compare myself to Drumma Boy. I say that because he is a southern bred producer who has longevity in the industry & has produced in all genres & has continued success to this day.

What made you want to get into the business?

I wanted to get into the music business because I love to produce music. It's something I've always dreamed of doing for a long time, and hey I've heard I'm not to bad at it either, ha!

What is the most difficult thing you have had to endure in life or in the industry?

Just getting up the courage to say to myself, "You know what, it"s time to make this a job instead of a hobby" and actually turn making music into my job.

Are there any questions that your were expecting that we didn't ask and want to answer?

One questions I thought u would ask is about shout outs! Haha however, I do have a couple! First, s/o to Dope Souf Radio for giving me the opportunity for the interview. s/o everybody in my city of Nashville, s/o God too, my whole team that's pushing with me, my moms, my family, 2015 shall be a good year!
