SHEREXMYKES

Not Only Street/Universal/Ingrooves/Fontana Artist, Radio personality, Owner of Dope Souf Radio and Magazine

What would you say has been the best or most memorable moment in your career so far?

I can't really say that I have one paticular moment that stands out from all the rest. I'm signed to Not Only Street Records, I've worked with and befriended, quite a few promoters, artists, industry vets, and label owners, all due to Dope Souf Radio and Magazine. So my most memorable moment happens everyday. I love being able to give something back, or producing something for our community. So everytime I talk to anyone in the industry, I'm always very humbled by it.

What are you working on currently, and what are some of your upcoming projects?

With a Magazine, a radio station, a podcast, and with being an artist I'm always working. As far as being an artist, I'm currently working on "Lessons from the 9". I'm a product of where I'm from. I've put a few mixtapes, but none of these mixtapes will compare to this album. I'm from the 919 area code, so I'm product of that. So what you are getting on this album, is everything about me, what I standfor, my good traits, my bad traits, and all of the above. I'm also working on another mixtape, which is Crowned Royal 3. It will be released in August. The whole Crowned Royal Series is really about me finding myself, my voice, and my whole journey doing it. So if you want the real raw feeling and emotion and reality rap, then Crowned Royal Series is it.

What's 5 things your fans don't know about you?

I can be an introvert.

I was pretty much an Honor Student all the way through school

I appear thuggish, but I'm really not, once you get to know me.

I'm very cocky

I considered myself to be one the best female rappers to ever walk the earth, which points back to the fact I'm very cocky.

What makes you more unique than other artists?

I get to see the industry from both sides. I would encourage every artist to do that. I have the luxury of seeing things from an artist point of view, but also have the luxury of seeing things from the business aspect, also.

As far as being an artist, I would say that what makes me unique is my truthfulness, transparency, and honesty. Most of songs come from something I felt,or some experience. My punchlines and my wordplay are just icing on the cake. Plus, I've been known to slay people in 4 bars flat. I don't glorify drugs, sex, or violence. When ever I do mention those things, I never fail to mention where those things can get you #RipPimpC, he used to say that all time.

What's one trait about yourself that you don't like?

Keeping myself so busy, that sometimes I forget to stop and enjoy things. I have a pretty strong work ethic.

Who's someone you would like to work with in the industry, and why?

Mainstream- Kevin Gates anybody that knows me, knows I'm a big fan, and I've yet to see a female MC on a track with him that added a female point of view.

Nicki Minaj- Not that I'm a huge fan, but she does have some bars. It would be competition to see who would murder the track.
