What would you say has been the best or most memorable moment in your career so far?

The most memorable moment in my career thus far has been signing an independent record deal, doing shows throughout the Chicago area, and recording my debut EP "Great Expectations".

What are you working on currently, and what are some of your upcoming projects?

Currently I am still promoting my EP I released last December titled "Great Expectations". I am also preparing my 3rd mixtape titled "Carpe Diem" which is set to be released early next year.

What's 5 things your fans don't know about you?

I've freestyle every song i've done since the end of 2013.

I have a twin sister.

I'm not afraid to experiment with different sounds and genres.

I formerly went under the stage name YoungNique.

My first two mixtape purposely had no features.

What makes you more unique than other artists?

I think what separates me from other artists is that I don't try to create music to fit in with artist in the industry. I pride myself on originality and versatility.

What's one trait about yourself that you don't like?

I tend to be too much of a perfectionist.

Who's someone you would like to work with in the industry, and why?

I would love to work with Kanye West. He is one of my biggest inspirations and I admire his way of being innovative with his music. He brings out the best in whoever he works with and i'd enjoy being apart of that.

Who were some of your biggest influences that are in the same field you are in?

Some of my biggest influences are Wale, J.Cole, Drake, Big Sean, Kendrick Lamar, Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West & Jay Z.

Compare yourself to some one that is more established, who would that be and why?

If I could compare myself to someone who is established it would be Wale. He has a huge following, makes great music and I feel as though people often look over him and don't give him enough credit. The comparison is that I feel I make great music and it's constantly looked over because it doesn't sound like most of the music created in the Chicago area or even played on the radio.

What made you want to get into the business?

I wanted to get into the music industry when I discovered I had a huge admiration for music. I knew it was something I wanted to do since I was 14 years old. I've always been good with catching onto lyrics fast so it felt like something I should pursue.

What is the most difficult thing you have had to endure in life or in the industry?

The most difficult thing i've had to endure would be figuring out the best way to get my start. I know Lords will it's only a matter of time.
