Making Inroads
Thanks to the tremendous generosity
of our donors, 2019 was a recordsetting
year across the Hazelden Betty
Ford Foundation in helping people find
freedom from addiction. More than
25,000 patients—the most in our
history—received care through our
treatment, recovery and family services.
Beyond providing direct, in-person care, we
worked in partnership with other health care
organizations, researchers, educators and
recovery advocates to forge new inroads in
delivering healing and hope to more people,
in new ways, with the latest science and
proven-effective practices.
Training Expert Counselors
Alaska
Our Graduate School conferred 63 master’s
degrees in 2019, and our graduates are in
high demand from coast to coast and as
far away as the Arctic Circle where one
graduate is now serving native populations.
