The celebrities figured that it was a waste of time to shower , and concluded that if they began showering and washing themselves then they would have to shower and wash themselves as REM driven clone duplicate alternatives every night they were activated as REM driven clone versions of themselves at the cloning center , and therefore the celebrities became slack and lazy in regards to basic hygiene as a concern .
