With love and reverence we place these mementos of Don to remind us of his great love and affection . We give thanks to God for his life and his goodness to us . Let us take Don ’ s spirit and what Don offered into our lives . May Don be at peace in the city of God , blessed and welcomed by God .

Opening Prayer
Cel : Into your hands , O Lord , we humbly entrust our brother Don . In this life you embraced him with your tender love ; deliver him now from every evil and bid him enter eternal rest . The old order has passed away : welcome him then into paradise , where there will be no sorrow , no weeping nor pain , but the fullness of peace and joy with you Son and the Holy spirt , God , for ever and ever .
