Cronotopes & Dioramas( Desertic), 2009 Mural painting. books, various components. Series of three dioramas Tropical, Atlantic, Desertic- inspired by 19th century natural history museological display which are designed to construct the illusion of a naturalistic or geological scene. Here, books are disaplayed like a threatened species. Created specifically for the exhibition Chronotopes & Dioramas, Dia at the Hispanic Society, New York, 2010. Desertic was later included in Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster. 1887 – 2058, Centre Pompidou, 2015.
