end of your career?

BB: To go down in history as a legend, somebody who no one could ever slander. Have the respect Lauryn Hill had except come with more than one album.

DM: Today's music is about collaborations. What "hot" rappers are out now? Who would you love to work with on a project?

BB: I don't pay attention to the rappers out today. Any collaborations that I'd do would solely be for the exposure to their audience

DM: Understandable. What are the most difficult challenges when creating new music, rapping or performing?

BB: Trying to package something of substance in a format that's acceptable to today's listeners who don't seem to want much substance at all. Also trying to put my life and personal experiences into words that everyone can relate to. I don't want to only reach people from the hood or only people living the high life; I want to reach people in every walk of life. Moreover, I'd like to be the voice of the everyday person. I'm tired of hearing music from people who grew up in the hood. Every black person doesn't come from the hood!

DM: Intriguing and young individuals need to know that amazing I love that. How many hours do you stay in the studio?

BB: lol! Not nearly as much as I should. But I also think that there is a popular misconception that the more time you spend in the studio, then the better you are or will be: but really, it just means that you're spending a lot of money. There's people in the studio everyday of their lives and still haven't put out music worth listening to.

DM: I have to say I definately agree. Do you write your own lyrics?

BB: Yes because I feel like anything else is karaoke

DM: Ok Are you a perfectionist?

BB: F*** yea, that's the main reason I don't have anything out right now because I'm too much of a perfectionist. I always want everything to be perfect before letting the world hear it.

DM: Yes I can dig it Your remake/remixof Tamar's "love and war "is hot right now, what other tracks do plan on releasing from your mixtape/album?

BB: Right now, I'm trying to decide whether I'm even going to release a mixtape/album or continue to release individual tracks. I would like to do more collaborations with WORTHWHILE artists before putting out a big project.

DM: That makes alot of sense. When did you first realize you wanted to become a rapper/singer?

BB: When I was at church in FL (my hometown) and the pastor's son is a rapper and singer and his music was so dope. I wanted to try to put together sounds and do what he did on my own. Since, the older people around me were impressed with what I was doing, I kept going.

DM: Do you have any regrets in pursuing this career?

BB: I just wish I continued to be as dedicated as I was when I was younger. Only recently have I had regrets and because of that, I let the BS everyone else was putting out slow me down. I grew frustrated because I kept running into people who were trying to convince me to put out music that "blended in" with today's music instead of being me. I think that's ass backwards and we've seen enough of that, I don't like pretending

DM: Do you aspire to one day make it big in Hollywood? Or do you enjoy being a local rapper/singer?

BB: I used to think I wanted to go to Hollywood, but these days I don't know. Hollywood is fake af! It's annoying that people are falling for these other artists that are just now saying things that I said long ago: my REAL fans can vouch for this. I definitely want my music heard on a much larger scale, but Hollywood isn't necessarily my end goal. Hollywood is the easy route, all it requires you to do is be willing to conform and do anything: I'm not that type of person.

DM: Genuine heart and mind love it. What are the things about being a rapper/singer that you most enjoy and which do you prefer?

BB: The fact that I can sing, put together, and produce the melodies in my head are what I enjoy most: because of that, I can bring them to life the way that I want to. I feel bad for those who aren't musically talented; people always look for songs to get through tough situations or to sing with in joyous moments, but everyone just cannot do that.
