Comedian: Chris mason

CM: Comedy started for me by a craiglist ad (lol). Someone was looking for a host for a new comedy venue in downtown DC. So I told them I would do it even though I had never done comedy before but I knew this was my opportunity. I called some of the best comics in the area together and it was a sold out show and went great an it actually became a every Thursday spot.

DM: Wow amazing I know now why you say your innovative, changing the game and making history. When did you know it was what you wanted to do?

CM: I was unsure initially because I was so into acting but after a few open mics I started to develope a liking for it so I kept at it.

DM: Oh cool. Were you always funny?

CM: Well I always took the role of tention breaker being the youngest childso I would always tried to make people laugh in order to keep peace andhappiness. I was always told I was funny but I never thought I'd be a comedian at any point actually.

DM: That's great got to keep the peace. What song would you have played at your funeral and why?

CM: I would like Thriller by Michael Jackson to be played because it would really throw people off (lol).

DM: lol too funny. Can you describe what kind of comedian you are?

CM: I'm more of an observational/dry humor type of guy. I much rather a person laugh at what I'm saying and not what I'm doing. I understand physical comedy is a common form of comedy and every comedian uses it at some point but I never had any thoughts of being a physical/slap-stick comedian.

DM: What is your Favorite one liner joke?
