DM: Where do you hail from?

MDP: Usually I tell people I'm from everywhere. I was born in Los Angeles, CA and as a

kid moved to Dade, county FL. As a teenager I moved to Prince George's county and later began to become familiar with the Baltimore, Annapolis and Washington DC regions. Since the majority of my family is from LA I have always maintained extremely close ties to that area and return there most often.

DM: How long have you been making music and or rapping?

MDP: I've been rapping for almost 15 years. It started as poems and just developed from

there.

DM: Have you always enjoyed the art of music?

MDP: Yes! I have ALWAYS enjoyed the creative freedom that comes from creating music.

DM: When did you first start rapping?

MDP: I first started in high school. I've always written poetry and short stories. But

once I saw the popularity, money, special treatment, passes, free weed and females

some guys got JUST because they could bust a flow, it made me turn my poems into

raps.

DM: Word that's dope. What did your family do to encourage you?

MDP: Maaaaan the list of things is endless! Everything from lawyers, plane tickets, moral support, advice, told me to my face when I was messing up or making mistakes. They've loaned me money, given me rides, paid my bail too many times, and have ALWAYS loved me. They just have my back.

DM: Who are your musical inspirations?

MDP: Definitely Tupac, especially his Makaveli period. I love the Outlawz, Scarface, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Nas, some Jay Z. I am a huge fan of artist such TechN9ne, Yukmouth,

CBO, Eminem, 50 Cent, UGK, Z-RO and DPG to name a few inspirations.

DM: Yes I love the Makaveli album played it out Nas is fire too. So, What kind of music do you listen to today?

MDP: For the most part I've been listening to MY shit lately. Certain artists always get

played by me. Such as: 2Pac, Marvin Gaye, Snoop Dogg, ect.

DM: Ok cool. What embarrassing songs might I find on your MP3 player?

MDP: None! Lmao if it's in my MP3 player I LOVE it. I'm never embarrassed by what I like

or dislike.

DM: Smooth way to put it. Where would you most like to perform?

MDP: I'd love to perform in a stadium

DM: Any particular stadium?

MDP: (shiiiiiiiit it can be ANY stadium.) I can't imagine how good it must feel to have THOUSANDS of people partying to YOUR music.

DM: True that would be amazing. Who would you most like to open for?

MDP: At this point in my life and career, I don't get "star struck." So the easy answer

is ...... Who ever pays the most!

DM: I know that is the truth money talks. What’s your favorite thing to do when you aren’t writing/producing/playing etc?

MDP: Being a father, reading, watching the Lakers, chilling with family, smoking KUSH, I

watch a lot of documentaries, I love having great sex with beautiful women lol, and being around my homies/loved ones.

DM: Yes gotta love the fam. If you weren't rapping and creating music, what would you be doing?

MDP: I don't know. I'd probably be dead, in jail or working a job I hate

passionately. Music saved my life and preserves my sanity.

DM: I love your choice of words.

Do you play any instruments?

MDP: Nope. Wish I did. As a kid I was a busy body. I would'nt wouldn't sit still long enough the

learn.
