Music has been apart of Bang's life since before his birth. A host of family members were either playing instruments for the church or singing in the church choir. Growing up, Bang spent some time in the nationally recognized BET Urban Nation HIP-HOP Choir and appearences on Teen Summit. While in the Urban Nation Choir, Bang was able to meet some Gospel and R&B greats like Walt Whittman, Tony Terry, Roberta Flack, Micheal Jackson, Anita Baker and more.
Years later, Bang would become a Hip-hop artist in his own right. He lists some hip-hop greats as influences such as 2pac, Scarface, Biggy, Master P, Too Short, Ugk, 8ball & MJG, and Pastor Troy. With creating music Bang wishes to reach everyone from old to young and rich to the poor. In creating his music Bang wants to recreate history; to make his own story.
