BIG-HAND NO, AND NONCHALANT
DM: On your sound cloud you have a dope song snippet called "Way of A Warrior" which has deep lyrics can you please enlighten our readers on why that song is so important to you or what was going through your mind writing that song?
BHN: I’m at a point in my life where the only thing I really believe in is Jesus Christ. He gave his only begotten son (God) so that our sins were forgiven and paid for by the blood. In my past I have given the Devil 110% so now I’m living for the King and giving it my all. So giving my perspective of my walk with Christ was my purpose. I thought it be only right to give them the real ME.
DM: Do you think your style of rap has a viable place in hip-hop?
BHN: Everybody has a part, I just play mines and that’s just one part.
DM: Who are some of your musical inspirations?
BHN: Big, Jay, Nas, Black Thought, Pimp C or UGK, 2 Pac, Bone Thugs & Harmony, Scarface, Snoop
DM: Who would you most like to collab with and why?
BHN: Whoever has the best situation on the table. At the end of the day that’s what matters to me. What I deserve
DM: What’s your favorite thing to do when you aren’t writing/producing/playing etc.?
BHN: Doing something with Family and or friends. I like seeing my peoples happy on the count of me.
DM: If you weren't rapping and creating music, what would you be doing?
BHN: Not Sure???? Probably an entrepreneur of some kind. I have been trying to work for someone but always find myself no matter what always making music. So I’m heaven sent, it seems music is my calling.
DM: If you had to categorize your style of rap what would it be for you for example trap, backpack the list goes on which category do you feel your style is under?
BHN: Hip-Hop is the only way to categorize ME. I came up in the 80s & 90s, so I grew up listening to the best Artist in my opinion.(R&B, Hip-Hop, etc.)
DM: When did you begin doing music?
BHN: I begin doing music in 1989 with my little cousin for fun. (Tay) The more I practiced the better I became at it.
