Born Larry Wendell Weeks on June 02, 1978 in San Diego, California at Paradise Valley Hospital,Yogi's first involvement in music he honestly confesses was in in church. Yogi, who came up in the early 80's started off life normal, family around and all. When Yogi hit 10 his world changed and he started to as well. Yogi came up in a military household with a very strict NCO(if any of you know that's not good times he recalla). Yogi and his family hit Texas after leaving California, then to Chicago, and then right here to the DMV, Columbia, Maryland to be specific. He can recall the feeling that no matter where he was, or whatever he was going through, music was always close by, from the boom box to the blackberry. The DMV is where Yogi calls home, "my heart is here, the music here is moving, and carries knowledge, and culture in a way no other place has for me" says Yogi. Music motivates, inspires, and heals at times. "When you all listen to my music I want you all to feel my struggles, as well as enjoy my come ups with me".
