SHOW OF THE YEAR VOT I N G C R I T E R IA Del Valle Dog Club of Livermore Del Valle is known for its many specialties and its thoughtfully put-together panel of expert specialist judges. The beautiful venue that hosts this show is expansive and extremely well laid out, drawing great competition from all over the country. Houston Kennel Club Houston has an extremely large, well-laid-out, airconditioned show site with large rings and spacious grooming areas. Judges education, a children’s dog art contest and spectator special events abound. Other clubs look to Houston KC to get new ideas. Little Fort Kennel Club of Waukegan Little Fort is a well-run show put on by an innovative club with hard-working members with a lot of new ideas. A great judging panel and an amazing number of specialty shows and charity fundraisers make this a fun show for all. Morris & Essex Kennel Club Morris & Essex is an extravaganza held every five years on beautiful, picturesque showgrounds. The judging panel is a who’s who of well-respected breed authorities, and exhibitors deck out in period costume to reflect the show’s heritage. Penn Ridge Kennel Club Penn Ridge is a well-run show with a top-notch judging panel in a roomy, airconditioned facility. The club members sacrifice everything, working hard to promote creative charity fundraising events and junior handler scholarship funds.
