SHOW OF THE YEAR
VOT I N G C R I T E R IA
Del Valle Dog Club of Livermore
Del Valle is known for its many specialties and its thoughtfully put-together panel
of expert specialist judges. The beautiful venue that hosts this show is expansive
and extremely well laid out, drawing great competition from all over the country.
Houston Kennel Club
Houston has an extremely large, well-laid-out, airconditioned show site with large rings and spacious grooming areas. Judges education, a
children’s dog art contest and spectator special events abound. Other clubs look to Houston
KC to get new ideas.
Little Fort Kennel Club of Waukegan
Little Fort is a well-run show put on by an innovative club with hard-working
members with a lot of new ideas. A great judging panel and an amazing number
of specialty shows and charity fundraisers make this a fun show for all.
Morris & Essex Kennel Club
Morris & Essex is an extravaganza held every five years on beautiful, picturesque
showgrounds. The judging panel is a who’s who of well-respected breed authorities, and exhibitors deck out in period costume to reflect the show’s heritage.
Penn Ridge Kennel Club
Penn Ridge is a well-run show with a top-notch judging panel in a roomy, airconditioned facility. The club members sacrifice everything, working hard to
promote creative charity fundraising events and junior handler scholarship
funds. A good time is had by all.
