DENISE CASTONGUAY NEWFOUNDLANDS OBEDIENCE , TRACKING AND WATER WORK
enhances their bond with their dog . Denise Castonguay has a lifelong love for Newfoundlands and competed in obedience and tracking with her first dog . Her first show dog acquired American and Canadian championships as well as working in water , draft and obedience . Initially using professional handlers , Denise occasionally showed due to conflicts and grew to love showing in conformation , too . She judges water rescue and draft tests . “ Watching and judging a dog-handler team that is in sync with each other and the dog is exhibiting superb natural instinct is a goose-bump moment and one I treasure . … Training bonds you and your dog . This bond is worth the financial , emotional and physical costs for me .”

The emotional benefits are that it keeps you grounded and happy .”
