Background
I grew up in the North East of England and from a very young age
had a love for singing and performing; entering singing competitions and performing in amateur dramatics. I even used to put on
shows with my sisters and brother for the family. Anything to have
some attention they used to say.
I studied hard at school and passed all my GCSE’s and left to attend
Durham 6th Form and progress with my A levels. After 6th form I
really didn’t know that you could make a career out of singing and
performing. I thought that was for the big stars that I would watch
on Top Of The Pops.

I had many jobs. Call Centre Agent, Green Grocer, Gardener, Loan
Processor, Leader, Trainer to name a few, and every day I would
sing whilst I was at work. My colleagues would say I had singing
tourettes. One day I was working for major IT company and I realised I was not happy with the path I was taking in my career and
needed some time off, so, I booked a flight to Majorca for a break. 4
months later, I’m still in Majorca.....but singing in a karaoke bar!! My
family thought I was crazy, but for me I was in the sun, happy, paid
for doing what I love, performing.
After the summer season finished I decided I would try and carve a
career in entertainment. I applied for a holiday company and started
on their production team as a lead vocalist and entertainer. Three
years later, working on another production team in the Algarve, an
agent spotted me and offered me a management deal and to tour
the UK and Europe performing my own show!! I could not believe
my luck...me Jon Moses the singing Billy Elliot.
I was so nervous....Would people pay money to hear me sing?
My dad...my biggest fan and sister were so proud to come see me
perform and believed in me so much that they filled an application
form for a show called ITV Superstar, with Andrew Lloyd-Webber.
Never would I expect that this would change my life forever and I
would become a finalist in the live shows and sing for millions of
viewers.
Since the show I have had the pleasure to travel the world and perform with some great celebrities in Theatre shows and events.
Life is great and I have learned that dreams can come true, you just
have to work hard, keep focused and most of all BELIEVE.
