SUPPORTING GRAPHIC ELEMENTS
PICTOGRAMS
We use pictograms when it helps to make things
clearer. We use pictograms on hospital signage,
and occasionally when it creates a helpful
shorthand on other items such as menus.
Our pictograms use a white-out shape in a simple
form within a circle of Mediclinic Blue. Standard
shapes such as toilet signs, and a ‘P’ for parking
can be used.
Always keep shapes to the simplest possible form
while clearly communicating what they represent.
