REV. FR FRANCO CELLANA, IMC
It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that the Consolata Missionaries announce the passing on to
glory of Fr Franco Cellana on September 24, 2015 at the National Cancer Centre of Milan, Italy after a brave battle with cancer.
Fr Cellana was the parish priest of Wamba parish, Maralal diocese, Kahawa West parish, Nairobi and Consolata
Shrine Westlands, Nairobi.
He was a former regional superior of the Consolata Missionaries in Kenya and Uganda.
He has served as a missionary in Italy, Spain and Tanzania. He died at 73 years of age.
He had 52 years of Religious Profession and 48 years of priesthood.
His body was laid to rest in his home town, Tiarno di Sopra, Trento, Italy on Sunday September 27, 2015.
He will be remembered fondly by all who knew him and his memories will always be with us.
May the Lord rest his soul in eternal peace.
