Easter and May Half Term Courses
Developing cycling skills
All sessions below are 3 hours long and cost £ 12.50 per child. Bikes are available to hire for an extra £ 5. Completion of a parental consent form is required prior to the sessions. Please note that these courses are run outside so be prepared for inclement weather.
All through the year
Strider Bike Sessions 1½-5 yrs Tuesdays 10.45am Sundays 9.45am or 10.45am If your child can walk then they can ride! Strider bikes are balance bikes designed for children to gain confidence before progressing to a bike with pedals without having to use stabilisers. The sessions last 45 minutes and are indoors but if weather permits will be outside. Sessions cost £ 4 and include a Strider bike, helmet, tuition and a hot beverage for the parent / guardian. Please book in advance as spaces are limited.
Learn to ride 6-106 yrs! Redbridge Cycling Centre offers one to one coaching for adults and children to learn to ride. Sessions can be booked according to your schedule and are £ 27 for 1 hour, which includes a bike, helmet and instruction. Join the many successful cyclists that the centre has taught to ride.
Basic Bike Maintenance Courses Would you like to know how to maintain and fix your own bike? Redbridge Cycling Centre runs 4 week maintenance courses throughout the year.

Novice Go-ride Skills 5-10 yrs Monday 3 April 1pm-4pm Monday 10 April 1pm-4pm Tuesday 30 May 10am-1pm Fun skills in our coaching area concentrating on basic cycling techniques( must be able to ride without stabilizers).
Intermediate Go-ride Skills

Basic skill development, partly in our coaching area and then on the circuit, for riders who have completed the Novice Go-ride skills course.
Advanced Go-ride Skills 8 yrs + Friday 7 April 10am-1pm Thursday 13 April 10am-1pm Thursday 1 June 1pm-4pm Further skills development on the circuit for riders who have completed the Intermediate Go-ride skills course.

Introduction to Mountain Biking 8-16 yrs Wednesday 5 April 10am-1pm Friday 7 April 1pm-4pm Tuesday 30 May 1pm-4pm Suitable for riders who have limited off road cycling experience.
Mountain Biking Follow-Up 8-14 yrs Wednesday 12 April 10am-1pm Suitable for riders who have completed the introduction to mountain biking course or cyclists wishing to learn more advanced mountain bike skills and techniques.
Introduction to BMX 8-16 yrs Wednesday 5 April 1pm-4pm Thursday 6 April 1pm-4pm Wednesday 31 May 10am-1pm Suitable for competent cyclists who wish to try BMX, this course is an induction to the basic techniques needed to ride the BMX track safely.
BMX Follow-Up
8-16 yrs
Thursday 13 April 1pm-4pm Friday 2 June 10am-1pm Suitable for rides who have completed the BMX induction or who have limited BMX experience.
Introduction to Road Racing 8-16 yrs Monday 3 April 10am-1pm Thursday 1 June 10am-1pm Suitable for riders who are competent cyclists and would like to try road racing bikes and techniques. Minimum height 138cm.
Road Racing Follow Up 8-16 yrs Monday 10 April 10am-1pm Suitable for riders who have completed the introduction to road bikes course or novice road racers, who wish to learn new road racing skills and techniques.
