Brazilian artist internationally renowned, her paintings contain pure images in bold colours. Most of her work picture memories of her childhood in Brasilia, a time at which the city under construction embraced migrants from across the country: brave and optimistic workers, inspired by the idea of building a new capital and a new life. Her paintings contain aspects of such dedication and joy of living. Artista brasileira de renome internacional, suas pinturas têm imagens puras e cores fortes. A maioria de seus trabalhos expressam lembranças de sua infância em Brasília, época em que a cidade em construção recebia migrantes do país inteiro: trabalhadores corajosos e otimistas, inspirados pela idéia de construir uma nova capital e uma nova vida. Suas pinturas contêm aspectos dessa alegria de viver e a dedicação inerente.

His portraits and compositions show unusual perspectives of the human body, in unorthodox angles and textures. In his own words, “I draw nudes not only in a composition of muscles but also with the fantasy and emotion that are felt and seen in the human being.” Artista brasileiro radicado em Amsterdam, o autodidata jaLuciano trabalha com uma técnica única de traços contínuos e diferentes materiais. Seus retratos e composições mostram perspectivas inusitadas do corpo humano, em ângulos e texturas não-ortodoxos. Em suas próprias palavras, ““Eu desenho o nu não só em uma composição dos músculos, mas também com a fantasia e emoção que são sentidos e vistos no ser humano.”
