February marks Black History Month, a tribute to African American men and women who have made significant contributions to America and the rest of the world in the fields of science, politics, law, sports, the arts, entertainment, and many other fields.
Here at DJOD we are celebrating black history month by honoring Historically Black Colleges and Universities! Our wonderful teachers and staff have decorated doors dedicated to the HBCU’s that include important information such as history, contributions to the black community and notable alumni!
Did you know: Did you know there are 107 colleges in the United States that are identified as Historically Black and Universities by the US Department of Education!
