5. What got you into music, and what are your influences? My father. He's an amazing guitar player and that's why I think I began to play also. I started somewhere at age of 14-15 with classical and flamenco style playing. I bought my first electric guitar at the age of 17-18. 6. What sacrifices have you had to make to do what you love? I basically had to change professions and get rid of some hobbies. Lack of family time is the biggest sacrifice because I spend at least one hour every day just trying to manage our band forward, sending e-mails and making phone calls. And my playing skills are suffering also because of that one hour. Maybe we should find a manager.. 7. Who did you get your musical talent from? Well, my father showed me the basics and has been the biggest inspiration to me. 8. How did you come up with the name of the band? It's connected with Atte's profession, he is metal engineer. It's combination of abbreviations of different materials and chemicals... So practically it doesn't mean anything :) 9. Where can people find out more about the band? Our facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/nicumo?fref=ts) , our website (www.nicumo.com) or from Nicumo's YouTube channel. Our albums can be purchased from Itunes, Recordshopx etc. or you can listen to us on Spotify. Live gigs are of course the best way to get to know the band. 10. What are your goals for the future? Where do you hope to be in 2 years? Well.. It'd be nice if we sell a lot of copies of our first album "The End of Silence". Maybe having a second album released or to be released. Also I hope that we will have toured more than 5 countries and have will have had many unforgettable moments with our band. 11. What recording studio do you use? Our old friend Kalle Keskikuru is studying record engineering and he recorded & mixed album. He's always been very talented... Drums were recorded at his school's studio but all string instruments and vocals were recorded at his house. At the moment he is actually building his own studio so maybe in the future we can do everything under the same roof. 12. If i grabbed your IPod from you, what would I find you listening to right now? I have to check it out.. I have several old and new bands on here. There is Stam1na, Mastodon, Soilwork, Steve Stevens and Megadeth. I listen to mostly aggressive music because I use my mp3 player mainly when I'm doing physical training.
