will define the kind of impact we have in society and the relationship we have with
our fellows and followers. If we want to strength our democracy, it is necessary to
put in practice new values in the exerting of leadership.
But Kybernus is also concerned about the capacity of young Mexican leaders. We
think that the capacity of solving concrete social problems is also part of responsible
leadership. In order to solve those problems, we need to have the pertinent tools of
thinking, creating, and implementing collective strategies and public policies. Thanks
to Kybernus workshops we have acquired many tools for responsible and effective
leadership. For example, the Public Policy workshop has been very useful to develop
more effective strategies to implement our projects in the local context, and then,
measure the impact of those projects. Also, the Geopolitics workshop has boosted
us to improve our understanding of globalization and its several effects. With the
support of Kybernus we have enhanced our performance in the international
cooperation project.
Finally, Kybernus has helped us to increase our social networks in Mexico. The
opportunity of sharing the workshops with people from all the states of the Mexican
Federation has had an immeasurable value. We think this experience has been very
important to increase the cohesion between young leaders from each state, as well
as to expand the channels of communication, mutual understanding and cooperation
between leaders from all the country. The diversity of the country is immense, thus,
we have found out that cooperation between people with different ideas is as
fundamental as plurality to democracy. Despite the different visions and opinions,
we all find in Kybernus a common space to share ideas and initiatives, and also a
common core of values, principles and good practices. Thanks to Kybernus, many
of us have realized that it is possible to build consensus and agreements even in the
most divergent environment. Successful in the agreement-building is not always
possible; however, is always an open door.
