DIY Trade News October 2013 60 news Spotlight Feature report back company profile opinion Products Sport Sika celebrates Women’s Day In August, Debbie Westwood from Sika celebrated Women’s Day by spoiling ladies at the Builders Trade Depot store in Margate. She donned her yellow dungarees (with added black boots and a black hat to give style and elegance to the occasion), and set up a Sika demo table with a display of red, orange and yellow roses and a beautiful bowl of chocolates. Westwood demonstrated Sika Cemflex, a waterproofing and bonding agent that can be used to waterproof flowerboxes, ponds, shower floors and walls to name a few applications. She also demonstrated H2O Tite, one of Builder’s own brands of waterproofing products. Both of the products are easy to use, even for ladies! Women customers were all offered chocolates and there were sweets for the kiddies, while the odd treat was given to male customers too, so everyone was spoilt! Supporting Build it soccer When Pinetown Build it recently hosted its annual U13 Soccer Tournament, they invited Sika’s cheerleader extraordinaire, Debbie Westwood along to give her usual colourful brand of generous support.
