MODULAR PODCAST
What a month for the three of us at Modular Podcast. We set up the #3modulechallenge and you guys went nuts for it! We were blown away by how many people took part and the quality of the patches / sounds you all came up with. For those scratching their heads (or bottoms) wondering what I'm on about the 3 module challenge was a challenge to only use 3 modules to make a patch. Full synth voice combo modules like a Mother-32 were not allowed (as that could be a 1 module challenge) and that was about it rule wise. We said we'd pick a winner and send out a T shirt and we picked out Nero Bellum on Instagram. Not only did he post loads of videos (quantity didn't play part in our decision for him to win) but he made some great patches that sounded like several layers playing over each other. Great work all round! We'll have more challenges in the future so stay tuned. The challenge was also the topic for this month's show. I won't get into sharing every video from me over the last month as you can keep up with that easily on my YouTube channel. However here's a few cherry picked to excite your ears and eyeballs. Or shut your eyes and listen. Or put your fingers in your ears and just watch. You could even play it from you phone while you're in the bath and pretend we're in an underwater layer demoing modules together ... I'm happy if you're happy ... and ... slightly weird.
