Study Area
The Division Street Corridor Strategy study area is
approximately 124 acres, located in the northern
por on of Downtown Arlington. The study area
is bound to the north by North Street, the Union
Pacifi c railroad corridor to the south, Cooper Street
to the west and Collins Street to the east, (see Figure
1.1).
Study Area: Approximately 124 acres
The Division Street study area is approximately one
mile in length between Cooper Street and Collins
Street and just over 1,000 feet in width measured
north to south. The study area consists of 178
parcels, (see Map 1.1). While the planning study
has a defi ned boundary, market assessments and
public input iden fi ed ac vity generators, infl uences
and program strategies extend well beyond the
study area. The study area was not viewed as a
hard boundary as strategies were developed.
