Reef it ‘ s only a five minute boat ride away . Barranco is one of the places good for divers of any level . It has moderate depths of about twelve metres at the mooring anchorage up to 25 metres on the expiring sandy ground at the bottom of the rocks . Most of the time there is no or only a slow current , and if there is one , the reef ’ s topography in the form of an amphitheatre always gives good shelter . Nevertheless , the dive site is considered quite good for big fish encounters as well . The regular animals on the spot include striped bream and zebra bream . Particularly striking are the yellowfin mackerels .
For the swarming fish , this spot on the fringing reef is a kind of meeting place . It is always a good idea to take a look in crevices and small caves . So , sure one or the other tiger moray or masked moray – that ‘ s the one with the nice blue eyes – can be seen . And yes , cleaning stations , too ...
