. eit 45 Jahren ist der gebürtige Schweizer Franco Banfi als Unterwasserfotograf aktiv. Im Jahr 2000 wurde aus dem ursprünglichen Hobby in Verbindung mit Reisereportagen und Tierfotografie( s) ein Beruf. 2014 erweiterte er das Ganze um die Organisation für entsprechende Fotoreisen in alle Erdteile und Meere. Seine Reportagen wurden weltweit in renommierten Magazinen veröffentlicht( etwa in GEO, National Geographic, BBC Wildlife, Animan, Focus, Red Bull Magazine, Terre Sauvage). Der preisgekrönte Fotograf gewann Auszeichnungen bei einigen der renommiertesten internationalen Fotowettbewerbe, darunter Wildlife Photographer of the Year, Travel Photographer of the Year, Nature’ s Best, International Photography Awards( IPA) und errang in Kuba zudem den Titel „ Weltmeister der Unterwasserfotografie“. Schon lange ist er Markenbotschafter für Isotta( Unterwasser-Fotoequipment) und Mares.

F ranco Banfi, who was born in Switzerland, has been working as an underwater photographer for 45 years. In 2000, what had originally been a hobby combined with travel reporting and wildlife photography became his profession. In 2014, he expanded his activities to include organising photography trips to all continents and oceans. His reports have been published worldwide in renowned magazines( such as GEO, National Geographic, BBC Wildlife, Animan, Focus, Red Bull Magazine and Terre Sauvage). The award-winning photographer has received accolades at some of the most prestigious international photography competitions, including Wildlife Photographer of the Year, Travel Photographer of the Year, Nature’ s Best, and the International Photography Awards( IPA), and was also crowned‘ World Champion of Underwater Photography’ in Cuba.
