Maafaru-Caves Diving in the Maafaru channel means doing a relaxed drift dive . On a distance of 400 metres long overhangs are the home of colourful soft corals . Another highlight : a pinnacle not far away from the reef , that is overgrown by soft corals . Maine life : oriental sweetlips , lots of diverse snapper species , sometimes reef sharks cruising around the block .

Turtle Reef The reef ‘ s name has a reason ! Because the spot is mostly shallow it is also a nice place for snorkeling . In the hard coral reef live a lot of sea turtles and sea anemones .
• depth 5-15 m , visibility up to 30 m , current : none to weak , difficulty : easy
House Reef Reethi Faru The sprawling house reef has several entries . Perfect : the dive centre ‘ s crew brings your equipment to your prefered entry and takes it after you finished the dive . At the house reef you see small swarms , some crayfish colonies with up to a dozen animals . If you are lucky a cowtail stingrays comes to one of the cleaning stations . Sometimes frog fish and small reef sharks .
