Diving Ulm-born Volker Berbig ( left ) and Roland Martensson from Sweden ( right ) have been running the Deep Blue Diving Centre since 1999 . The pier in the south of the bay can be dived almost around the clock as a house reef . The centre is barrier-free , including a ramp to the boats and disabled-friendly sanitary facilities . The diving area extends over three coastal sections : Castillo Reef , Salinas Reef and Nuevo Hoirizonte Reef . In between is the bay of Caleta de Fuste . 18 mooring buoys / dive sites on the fringing reef with rocks in front . The sandy bottom drops away in front of it . There are few corals , but plenty of fish , including big fish .
Equipment 80 complete sets of equipment and 150 steel tanks ( 5-15 litres ); no diving with Nitrox . Four 7.5 metre long stable inflatable boats . Journey times between five and 20 minutes . Computer , lamp and camera hire .
Courses From beginner to diving instructor according to SSI , CMAS / VDST and PADI guidelines . Nitrox and diving with children . Since 2003 , the VDST has also been organising its national examinations for diving instructors at Deep Blue Diving . Numerous specialties from night diving to underwater photography courses .
Remarcable : Beginners ‘ training begins in the centre ‘ s own secured , shallow seawater pool directly in front of the diving centre . There are side exits under water to the house reef , which is only three metres deep .
