Small Reef of Jandia Around 200 metres long . Can be reached from the shore and by dinghy . Sandy bottom at 12 metres , at 22 metres rocky and terraced . A steep wall begins there , dropping down to 35 metres . Characterised by small ledges , crevices and caves . Often shoals of sardines and barracuda , groupers , several species of moray eels , occasionally butterfly rays .

Big Reef of Jandia Approximately 250 metre long reef not far from the Faro ( lighthouse ) de Morro Jable . Can be approached both from the shore and by dinghy . Almost always larger brown groupers , sometimes angel sharks , dogfish , often octopus , moray eels , lobsters . Colourful club anemones , trumpet fish , schooling fish , eagle rays . With luck , you may occasionally see a manta ray or other deep-sea dwellers .

Harbour wall outside Dive from the boat , time to go there 5 minutes . Easy dive site with lots of marine life ; there are schools of smaller fish such as bream but also schools of barracudas . Stingrays and sometimes angel sharks often lie on the bottom . Trumpet fish pass by here , there are shy groupers , moray eels , cuttlefish , nudibranchs – including large sea hares and club-tipped anemones .
