The spot , which is up to 17 metres deep , is dived from a boat . The reef wall made of old lava and the sandy bottom in front of it are teeming with life , including many small fish . These attract large hunters , including macaronesian groupers , barracudas and occasionally large rays .
In the animal kingdom , if you don ‘ t eat properly , you won ‘ t get really big – or should we say : if you ‘ ve got that big , you ‘ ve found plenty of prey ? In any case , even the white trevallies hunt in groups . Occasionally , large amberjacks can also be seen . In any case , Jorós is never uninteresting .
However , this applies to all spots ( who would take their guests to a place where there is nothing going on ?), and of course also to the often underestimated Small Reef of Jandia . With the three diving instructors in the team , it ‘ s certainly easy to philosophise about which favourite spot is the best . Our tip : find out for yourself .
