Mario ‘ s main area of expertise , however , remains the dive sites off the Jandia peninsula . Due to the nature of the underwater landscape in front of the endless beach , there are not an unlimited number of these off the southern part of Fuerteventura .
The gentle reader will therefore notice that the diving centres from Costa Calma to Esquinzo and Morro Jable all have some top spots in their programme , which are also visited by the other centres . It is well known that many aquanauts on Fuerteventura also have a preference for hotels .
But of course , every dive centre and perhaps even every diving instructor and dive guide has their own favourite ( s ) in the underwater world off Jandia . In addition to the steep wall of the Big Reef of Jandia in front of Morro Jable , another of Mario ‘ s favourite spots is the one called Jorós . It is located behind Morro Jable , halfway to the Jandia lighthouse .
