The family atmosphere at the diving school run by Spaniard Mario Rodriguez Torres ( who speaks English , French , Italian and German ) is a perfect match . It is located in the Marina Playa Resort on a small hill above the sandy beach . The hotel has a sister resort right next door , which is also run by the same owners , the Duffner family .
The difference : the Marina Playa Nudist Resort is – as the name suggests – a textile free resort and therefore has a unique selling point among the hotels presented in our Fuerte overview of the respective diving centres . Fans of nude bathing and sunbathing can of course also do so down on the beach .
Speaking of down below : Neither there nor anywhere else do divers at the Fuerteventura Diving Centre , just like at the six other bases in this report , have to lug tanks to their destination . Every underwater adventure starts in Esquinzo with the centre ‘ s minibus . Of the twelve diving spots that Mario and his team visit , six are shore dives and six are boat dives . They also offer day trips to the northern Salinas Reef not far from Caleta de Fuste .
