Changes often take place without you noticing them at first glance . In the Maldives , for example , this is the larger number of resort islands compared to previous years . Those who accept the longer way can today visit even the most remote corners of the island state .
This is by no means Gan behind the equator in the south of the country , as this island has long been established as a diving destination and has always been an exotic among the atoll islands due to its size . But even for the Maldives –
without wanting to devalue the newly opened islands – the saying „ Why seek far afield when the good is close by ?“ does also apply still these days .
Embudu on the northern edge of the South Male ‘ Atoll is probably the prime example of this : barely 45 minutes by boat from the airport , with a palm beach , a great house reef and a big fish guarantee . We present to you the little jewel in this special edition .
