“ I don ’ t reinvent the wheel . But I do take the wheel and pack it full of grease – the affirmation , love , understanding and knowledge – and then send it down the road .”
Quinones created another company , Q Enterprises , where he mentors and helps others build their own corporations .
“ I want to live life to the fullest , and the only way we do that is to merge cultures , to create the hybrid that we were intended to be ,” he says . “ The youth today are a hybrid , and that ’ s why I created Q Enterprises .”
A full-time construction teacher in Anderson Community Schools ’ D26 vocational school , Quinones has an office close to Anderson University and is renovating a downtown apartment for a new residence .
In addition to his daughter , Myan , who is now 17 years old , Quinones considers Will McKinney , whom he met at Man 4 Man , his son . And he views Will ’ s children , 7-year-old Kendrick and 6-year-old Kyrie , as his grandsons .
Quinones recently wrote an 85-page self-help / inspirational book , “ Aliens in America ,” that is on its way to self-publication through Amazon .
“ What I ’ ve learned is that the hardest thing that we will ever do is become what we were naturally intended to be ,” he says .
“ So , in the end of my book , I wrote , ‘ You ’ re either part of the problem or part of the solution .’ … Are you busy working on being the solution or are you busy working on being the problem ?
“ It ’ s hard work being the solution , but it ’ s natural because you get to become what God ordained you to be .” •
