Siła w naszej różnorodności Erasmus+ project 2019-1-PL01-KA105-064191 Who likes cartoons? Who likes cookies? Who likes cooking? Exercise 2 Work in groups of 4-8 people The number of groups depends on the total number of participants Materials: - cardboard boxes with architectural terms in the Polish-English version for each group one set (Annex 2) - coloured sticks or coloured cards to be used for dividing students into groups (corresponding to the number of participants), - dice. Description of the class activities: - participants draw sticks and create groups according to colour, - each group receives a mess of architectural cardboard boxes and arranges them in pairs Polish-English translation. Suggestion for consolidating vocabulary: 1. In each group, participants read Polish words. The other groups answer in English and put the mentioned Polish-English pair of words aside until they run out of cards. 2. Each participant draws a pair of words until the cards are finished. Then half of the participants choose only the Polish version and the other half only the English version. The task is to find pairs of words. Participants walk around the room, speak their words loudly in search of a pair. 3. Participants place cards on the floor with words in the form of a board game and act as in a normal game. They throw the dice and move forward. If they come across a word, they provide its equivalent in English or Polish.
