Findings show that 59% believe it is harder for a black, Asian or
minority ethnicity candidate (BAME) to be appointed to a senior
post than a non-BAME candidate, although one third believe they
are seeing more BAME appointments in general. A relatively high
proportion (19%) didn’t know if it was more difficult (compared with
only 3% answering ‘don’t know’ to the similar question relating to
women).
