Findings show that clients’ narrow selection criteria impacts on
search firms’ ability to present greater diversity in longlists. 70% of
respondents said that they could provide greater diversity if clients
gave less weight to proven career experience and more weight to
competencies. Similarly, 65% noted that an openness to candidates
from different industry sectors would ease the process.
