Whether officially or off-the-record, findings reveal that clients are requesting specific diversity traits in
their longlists. Over half of the respondents have been asked to provide a balanced slate of male:female
candidates, split 50:50. In addition, half of all respondents have been asked for a predominantly female
longlist as clients seek to improve their female representation at senior levels. Although to a lesser extent,
some clients are also being intentional about seeking BAME talent to be present on longlists.
