One of the best parts of my role is having direct access to some incredible humans . Over the close to twenty years in business and ministry I have met so many amazing women . Some have become as close as biological sisters . So , I do not take it lightly when those who are kind and selfless give of themselves for the sake of the elevation of humanity ; such is the case of the gorgeous , smart , talented , loving , and funny sister we know and love in the person of Delayna Watkins .
Delayna is a leader in her industry and has been for many years . The passion to see women become truly well – whole – is the driving force of her life . Delayna is the walking embodiment of her brand , The Women ’ s Wellness Lounge . She is the focused and anointed leader of the She is Well Tribe . She is a sister – a true sister - to all she meets . Delayna is a woman of high character , love and one in whom many of us confide as it relates to the area of health and complete wellness . DZM - Health is just one of the areas of wellness that you focus on in the Women ’ s Wellness Lounge . What other areas of wellness are important to discuss on our journey to experiencing a full life at any age ?
DW - Our physical health is the first area we focus on but our mental , spiritual , relationship , and financial wellness are all important areas that must be assessed and addressed . Most of us do not realize that our expectation of wellness is created from our experiences in every area of life . For example , if you lack responsibility for your financial wellness and treat most situations like a crisis , this creates chaos in the other areas of your
life .
DZM - Most women work outside of the home , care for their family and have other interests or passions . What are your top 3 tips for women trying to create healthy habits ?
DW - 1 . Identify action steps first then set a goal you expect to experience 2 . Write it down and share with your family ( they will support you if they know what you are doing and why ) 3 . Do not compare your progress with others , this is your personal journey with creating new healthy habits . Lastly , give yourself 30 days to develop a healthy habit !
