By WaQuilla Davis DZ: What would you do if you were sure you could not fail? WD: I would put my Wellness Coach Certification( 2023) to use. Officially promoting Selfcare by educating others & selfcare essential products.
DZ: What would you tell your 18 – 25-year-old self based on what you know now? WD: Not being able to have children does NOT define your womanhood! ALWAYS REMEMBER: " Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning!" Psalm 30:5
DZ: How do define success? WD: Success is living out your passion & helping others at the same time. In my opinion, success has absolutely nothing to do with money but how you pray for, embrace & love others!
DZ: What are daily / weekly self-care practices? WD: My Skin Care. I have a daily facial routine that cleanses & makes my skin glow by Farmasi. I also have a weekly " Get Addicted " hair appointment with Adrian " Adee " Young to make me more beautiful than I already am.
DZ: What promise have you made to yourself that you can say you are doing to work to fulfill now? WD: To stop second guessing myself. I am also applying to return to college in the Fall of 2026 for Communications.
WD: In the company of my sisters … I have a little piece of Heaven on earth, where I actually feel love all around, immediately greeted with a smiles & hugs!
WD: My daily practices of prayer and devotion … brings me closer to God & gets me through every single day... We Serve A Mighty GOD!
DZ: What would you do if you were sure you could not fail? KGS: I would host international retreats that transform women spiritually and personally while immersing them in the culture, people, and cuisine of each destination. By God ' s grace, this work would create the financial freedom to allow for participating in multiple mission trips annually, provide year-round support to my adopted families in Kenya, and revive my nonprofit, Homelessness to Homeownership. This ministry would offer the homeless a clear pathway from shelter to sustainable independence through job training, financial education, and ultimately, homeownership- embodying Christ ' s call to serve " the least of these."
DZ: What would you tell your 18 – 25-year-old self based on what you know now? KGS:“ Kathy, you are fearfully and wonderfully made, you are more than enough. Aim high, pursue what truly matters to your heart, and lean fully on God ' s wisdom to guide your steps. Trust Him and His timing.”
DZ: How do you define success? KGS: I define success as being deeply content and aligned in my spiritual life, relationships, finances, health, and generosity. True success flows from faithful stewardship of God ' s gifts, not from fame, dollar figures, or material possessions. It ' s walking in purpose, peace, and the abundant life Christ promised.
DZ: What are daily / weekly self-care practices? KGS: Honestly, I ' m still building consistent daily self-care habits. I ' m working toward a routine of journaling, meditation, prayer, and long steamy showers that restore my soul. My ideal weekly practice would include one full Sabbatical-style day: a spa experience with massage, body scrub, facial, manicure, and pedicure, followed by quiet time at home to write, reflect, and meditate on God ' s Word and what’ s next for my life. These are prayerful goals.
DZ: What promise have you made to yourself that you are working to fulfill now? KGS: I committed to reading the Bible chronologically in one year, and by God ' s grace, I ' m currently twenty-one days ahead of schedule. I ' ve also committed to building The Butterfly Effect coaching business and my AI consulting business to fully provide for my family while giving generously to my church, community, and the Kingdom causes I believe in.
KGS: In the company of my sisters … I feel whole, supported, and deeply loved, and I pray I reflect that same grace and Christ-like love back to them.
KGS: My daily practices of prayer and devotion … Are strong and continually evolving as I seek God daily through prayer, Scripture study, and faithful service as a Life Group facilitator and Deacon in my local church.
