By Angel Hunter DZ: What would you do if you were sure you could not fail? AH: If I could not fail, I would scale my God-assigned work to reach women worldwide— building systems, tools, and blueprints that strengthen generations. Purpose removes the fear of failure and there is no failure in God.
DZ: What would you tell your 18 – 25-year-old self based on what you know now? AH: Trust God in the process. It takes over 20 + years to develop skills and wisdom. Trust God in your Call, Consecration and Commission.
DZ: How do define success? AH: Success is living in full alignment with the assignment God placed on my life— moving in discipline, excellence, and wholeness. When my impact strengthens women and shifts generations, I leave a legacy for my family that is success.
DZ: What are daily / weekly self-care practices? AH: Daily self-care is the discipline of protecting your mind, body, and spirit through intentional routines: Reading God’ s Word, prayer, nutrition and hydration, movement( cardio, strength, flexibility, and mobility), setting boundaries, rest, and recovery. I learned selfcare is the reset: evaluating your energy, restoring what’ s depleted, and realigning with your God-given assignment.
DZ: What promise have you made to yourself that you can say you are doing to work to fulfill now? AH: I promised myself that I would build what God told me to build— and I’ m actively doing the work, creating tools, blueprints, and spaces that strengthen women and shift generations to create legacy. I love God and I love His Sons and Daughters; I understand my assignment and know what I carry.
AH: In the company of my sisters … I am loved, strengthened, sharpened, and reminded that we rise together. AH: My daily practices of prayer and devotion … keep me anchored, flowing by God’ s Spirit, clear, and aligned with the assignment God has entrusted to me.
DZ: What would you do if you were sure you could not fail? LR: I would expand my characters beyond books into movies, merchandise, toys, and licensing. I imagine each character as a child’ s friend, growing with them and becoming part of their world. My goal is to create a company where these characters live in playrooms and family life, bringing familiarity, comfort, and joy.
DZ: What would you tell your 18 – 25-year-old self based on what you know now? LR: Be fearless. Take the risk. Don’ t let“ no” stop you which often means“ not yet.” Trust God’ s vision and lean into your faith, knowing, as Proverbs 16:9 says, that while we plan our steps, God is the one who establishes them.
DZ: How do you define success? LR: Success to me means reaching my personal goals while being guided by faith and love. What truly counts is putting in the hard work, staying committed even when things get tough, and creating a life that cherishes God and my family above everything else.
DZ: What are daily / weekly self-care practices? LR: My daily self-care activity is a walk in nature. This is my quiet time with God, my thoughts, and gratitude. I use prayer, reflection, and mindful breathing to reset. I often capture photos to revisit later, helping me reflect and stay grounded.
DZ: What promise have you made to yourself that you can say you are doing to work to fulfill now? LR: I made a promise to myself never to believe that it was too late to pursue my dreams. I have dedicated myself to fully embracing my purpose as an entrepreneur and author, placing my trust in God’ s plan even during uncertain times. Furthermore, I committed to giving back to my community by offering mentorship to women and girls, as well as providing CanzyPop Kids ' books to children who need them the most through charitable initiatives.
LR: In the company of my sisters,.. we exchange laughter, support, and tears, fostering a sisterhood that strengthens our bond and our faith in God.
LR: My daily practice of prayer and devotion... is centered on praising God in the name of Jesus, with a heart of gratitude, as Scripture reminds us:“ And whatever you do … do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him”( Colossians 3:17).
