A Jazzy Wonderland –
The DIVA Zone’s Holiday Affair by Najiyyah Brooks
On December 9, 2017 at The Woodland in Maplewood, NJ, Brooks Media Group
hosted an elegant re-launch holiday affair for The DIVA Zone Magazine. Themed to
perfection, A Jazzy Wonderland was indeed a perfect evening. The room was filled
with amazing people, sponsors, writers, supporters, family and friends. The food
was delicious and plentiful; the champagne toasts were filled with holiday cheer
and the ambiance was topped off with phenomenal live jazz! The New Jersey based
Bradford Hayes Quartet opened the evening impeccably leading into a soul stirring
solo set with powerhouse international saxophonist; the stellar, Lord Yancyy who
traveled all the way from Detroit to celebrate the evening. Yancyy also graced the
beautiful cover of our holiday re-launch issue; definitely one for your collection as
the print version of The DIVA Zone Magazine is here to stay! We are sharing a few
photos from the evening. We do hope that you are able to join us for our big, well
