Donatella Versace is a powerful leading lady. She has a beautiful skin, lushes Vanilla blond hair and the face of a queen. Donatella Versace is an artistic director and vice president of a company with an annual revenue $592 million. She is never confident about her body and appearance but Donatella knows that it is not trends that drive the fashion industry, but the eternal obsession of a woman. Women want to look better, confident, get noticed and be at the centre of attention.
Donatella Versace has proved a lot of people that they were wrong. Donatella is a powerful independent woman. After her brother was murdered, she took his place and brought the brand to its victory. She becomes the head of Versace and she is the one who keeps the brand standing until now. The passion started when she was a little girl. Her mother was a dress maker and she would let her daughter play in the basket of fabric as she was doing her work. Donatella has two older brothers who love fashion too, Santo and Gianni. Her relationship with he brothers were so strong especially Gianni.
Gianni was murdered in July 1997. They announced that Donatella would assume creative control of Versace. Her advice for everyone is to follow your instincts. Do not try to be like Gianni. He worked so hard to build the brand and ended up being murdered. Donatella has both made Versace her own and transcended it. The death of her brother made her strong, but for a long time it was a trauma.
Donatella Versace likes to surround herself with people who have nothing to do with Versace so that she can see how they see it. She loves to create a relationship with young designers and keep Versace fed with input and creativity forever!
