OF FLORIDA
SECRETARY, TIM
CARMICHAEL,
ASSOCIATED
CONSTRUCTION
PRODUCTS (ACP)
Briefly tell us about your
professional background.
Carmichael: Came out of high
school and joined the US Marine
Corps and after getting hurt I got
out. I then went to work with ACP
as a salesman. I’ve worked for ACP
for 20 years, working my way up to
vice president.
DITCHMEN • OCTOBER 2019
Why you are in the underground
utility business and how did you
get started?
Carmichael: Larry Falls with ACP
has been a member of SUCA/
NUCA for almost 30 years and
when it was time for him to pass
the torch representing the industry
I stepped up. I have been an
active member for 18 years, all of
them serving on the board and
committees. I never intended to be
in construction but more fell into it
and fell in love with it
