What was your first job ? LAMARCA : Like most kids my age , my first job was working for Publix and then I started selling newspaper subscriptions for the Fort Lauderdale News / Sun Sentinel .
What is your favorite travel location ? LAMARCA : My favorite travel location is a quiet island in the Caribbean or the slow pace of America ’ s Wine Country .
What is your favorite movie ? LAMARCA : You can ’ t beat the HBO movie “ Rat Pack ” or Jon Favreau ’ s “ Swingers ” ( not what you might think !)
Do you have any “ guilty pleasure ” TV Shows ? LAMARCA : I can binge watch most of the “ Million Dollar Listing ” shows , but I love watching “ Overhaulin ” and car shows on Motor Trend .
What is your business philosophy ? LAMARCA : I value loyal people in my business above anything else , because there is nothing that you can ’ t accomplish when you have everyone working together for the same goal .
What are your hobbies or interests outside of work ? LAMARCA : I enjoy work and public service , but during the rare time that I am not doing both , I enjoy collecting and sharing wine with the people I treasure .
If you could have dinner with anyone , living or deceased , who would it be and why ? LAMARCA : I would have dinner with my later father , because I did not have the chance to get to know him as he passed away just before my first birthday .
Do you have any pets ? LAMARCA : We have a rescue basenji named Gibby . Basenjis are a breed of hounds that come from the Congo region of Africa and they are known for being “ barkless !”
What is the first concert you attended ? LAMARCA : My first concert was at the Hollywood Sportatorium and it was Ozzy Osborne and Quiet Riot . Most memorable was The Police for their final tour at the Orange Bowl in Miami .
What is the one thing about you no one would guess ? LAMARCA : I played the drums in a heavy metal band and marched in the drum line in high school .
What is your favorite college or pro team ? LAMARCA : I am a fan of the Florida State Seminoles and the Dallas Cowboys ✭ and I look forward to winning again soon !
What was the first car you drove ? LAMARCA : I hunted high and low and finally found my dream car : a 1972 Pontiac Trans Am ( with a 455-H . O . Big block .) I wish I kept that car .
