President’s Message
President Jordan Lee,
Utility Service Company
As I’m writing this,
Hurricane Irma is
barreling down on the
keys. I pray that everyone
comes out unscathed,
that there is minimal
damage, and that life
gets back to normal
quickly. Let’s take this
event to get stronger-not
only as an association,
but as people. Let’s
pitch in to help each
other, I’m sure there
will be plenty of work
getting things back to
normal as we know it.
We aren’t just members
of an association, we are
friends and families.
I was told a quote a
while back that pretty
well sums everything
up. There are three parts
of your life, that’s it. Just
three-you, your family,
and work. For reference,
that sentence is the only
time you come first. Your
work and family always
come before you and
they are interchangeable.
Without a good family
life you can’t have a
good work life. Without
a good work life you
can’t have a good family
life. There will be times
where you have to focus
on your family and that is
perfectly fine. When your
family is good, you have
to focus on your work
life. When the stars align
and your family is good,
and work is good, you
get that one hour where
you can put your self
first. I’ll admit that I don’t
get that often but when
I do I try to sneak out at
night, put my little panga
boat in the water and go
floundering, throw a fly
or lure at the lights, or
just sit there and admire
the life I’m lucky enough
to live. I hope you can
find the same peace of
mind once in a while.

for you. We strive as a
team, and I guarantee
this team will rally around
its mem bers when they
need help.

Cup, Texas Hold ‘Em, &
Board Meetings being
held on September 28th
& September 29th at the
Renaissance World Golf
Village in St. Augustine. I
